CLARENCE -Funeral services for Mrs. Jurgen Wendt, 62, were held Sunday at St. John's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Burial was in St. John's cemetery.

Mrs. Wendt died at Community hospital, Anamosa, Sept. 11, where she had been a patient several weeks. She was born Anna Margaretha Nickelsen, Dec. 10, 1906, in Germany, the daughter of Martin and Kristina Ketelsen Nickelsen. She was married to Mr. Wendt at Clinton Dec. 17, 1930.

Survivors are her husband; a son, Wilbert; 2 daughters, Mrs. William (Betty) Larkey, Oxford Junction, and Mrs. Lawrence (Dorothy) Brockhohn, Anamosa; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Henry Khort, Stanwood, and Mrs. Sophia Rehbehn, Germany, and 2 brothers, Hans, Clarence; and Christian, also of Germany.
