Elizabeth Eilers, 87, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 16 with the Rev. E. H. Lauer officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Forrest Willer Jr., Raymond Eilers, Mearl Eilers, William Butterbrodt, Robert Meinholdt and John Stuehm. Mrs. Arnold Swan was organist and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Miller were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Eilers died at Cedar Manor Sept. 13 following an extended illness.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Bannic, she was born at Dysart Nov. 27, 1881 and was educated in the schools of Luverne, Minn. She was married to Ernest Eilers at Laverne Feb. 12, 1908.

The couple lived in the Tipton area since 1908 and Mrs. Eilers had been a resident of Tipton since 1937.

She is survived by a son, Walter, Tipton, a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Helen) Klein, Mendota, Ill., 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
