Last rites for Rose Voss Engelbrecht, 77, will be held at Trinity Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 27 with the Rev. Ben J. Warrenburg officiating. Linda Ziba will be organist.

Pallbearers are Donald, Lawrence and Marvin Beaver, Charles Sothmann, Otto Lester Schnack and Harvey Wendt. Walter Kier and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Meinholdt were in charge of flowers. Sheets and Son were in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Engelbrecht died at University hospitals Iowa City May 24 following a short illness.

The daughter of Henry and Anne Groves Wendt, she was born at Sunbury July 19, 1891, and received her education in the rural schools of that area.

She was married to Alfred T. Voss Sr. in Davenport Dec. 13, 1912. He preceded her in death in 1944. She has been a resident of Tipton since 1932 and was a member of Trinity Lutheran church and a past member of the Women's Relief Corps.

She was married to Otto Engelbrecht Nov. 15, 1964.

She is survived by 3 sons, Lester H., Monticello; Alfred T., Central City and Lorren L., Tipton; 3 daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Leora) Schlinker, Tipton; Mrs. Norbert (Vivian)) Ebert, Clarence and Mrs. Darlene Yerington, West Branch; 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Frank and Gustav Wendt, Davenport, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Sophia) Beaver, West Liberty and Mrs. John (Anne) Sothman, Davenport.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
