Last rites for L. C. Gill, 56, Downey, were held at West Branch Nov. 4 with the Rev. William Thalacker officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mr. Gill died at his home Nov. 1 following a short illness.

He was born Sept. 11, 1912, at Nashville, Tenn. and married Ella Molback March 19, 1937, at Chicago. He had been a painter.

He is survived by his widow; a son, Larry, Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Janice Adolphson, West Branch; 3 brothers, Gordon and Finez, Chicago and Newton of Detroit, Mich. and 2 grandsons.
