John Stubbs, a native of Tipton, died Oct. 12 at Dorchester, Wis. Burial was in Dorchester.

Mr. Stubbs was born at Tipton May 22, 1916, and attended the Tipton schools. He was married to Ferne Thumma at Cedar Rapids Feb. 1, 1939.

They farmed in the West Branch area before moving to Dorchester in 1960 where they operated a dairy farm.

He is survived by his wife, 3 children, Mrs. Don (Sharon) Albrecht, Jim and Bob, all of Dorchester and 2 sisters, Mrs. Nora Tenley, Stanwood and Mrs. Kitty Perkins, Aledo, Ill.
