Funeral services for Mason Stirk, 90, will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 22 at the Sheets and Son Funeral home with burial in Woodlawn cemetery, Oelwein.

Mr. Stirk died Oct. 19 at his home in Tipton.

A native of Indiana, he was married to Lulu Bower in 1902. She preceded him in death. He was married to Elizabeth Tuttle at Rock Island, Ill., in 1948.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, Mason Jr., East Moline, Ill., and Leroy, Green Rock, Ill.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Orville Peitcher, Coal Valley, Ill., and Mrs. Clarence Ryker, East Moline, Ill.; stepsons, Elmer Tuttle, Silvis, Ill., and John Tuttle, Spokane, Wash.; 3 stepdaughters, Annamae Machmer, East Moline, Ill., Mrs. Harold Smith, Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Fred Schmitt, Rock Island, Ill.; 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
