Mrs. Hazel Katherine Gable, 65, a registered nurse, died at her Tipton apartment Sunday afternoon.

Sheets & Son funeral home took the body to University Hospital, Iowa City, for research, at her request. There were no services scheduled.

Hazel Katherine, the daughter of Tom and Lola Kemp Reeve, was born Oct. 9, 1902, near Tipton. She graduated from Tipton high school in 1921 and the University of Iowa College of Nursing in 1925.

Mrs. Gable spent her life in the Tipton area. She was a former member of the Eastern Star at Stanwood.

Mrs. Gable is survived by a sister, Mrs. George (Lucille) Roberts, Davenport and a brother, Edward Matrines, Cedar Rapids.
