Last rites for Mrs. Henry Boettcher, 71, were held at St. John's United Church of Christ at Clarence Feb. 29 with burial in the church cemetery.

Music was furnished by the church choir with Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch at the organ. Pallbearers were David Bishop, Warren Goldsmith, Richard Goldsmith, Roland Christ and Ray Richmann. Mrs. Hugo Rix and Mrs. Otto Hasenbank were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Boettcher died Feb. 27 in Mercy hospital, Davenport, where she had been a patient for 2 months.

Erna Goldsmith was born Oct. 5, 1896 in Cedar county. She married Mr. Boettcher in Clarence Aug. 31, 1921.

Mrs. Boettcher is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. Raymond Sanger, Clarence and Mrs. Charles Shinner, Davenport; 9 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Paul Rix, Clarence; Mrs. Emerson Christ, Maquoketa and Mrs. Alvina Richmann, Clinton and a brother, Joseph Goldsmith, Apopka, Fla.
