Mrs. Elmer Wreidt, 60, Wilton, a former resident of the Clarence area, died Feb. 21 at her home at Hatfield Station, 2 miles southwest of Wilton.

Mrs. Wreidt operated the restaurant at Hatfield's at the intersection of U.S. 6 and Iowa 38. Funeral services were held Feb. 23 with burial in Oakdale cemetery at Wilton.

Frances Height was born Oct. 27, 1907, at Muscatine. She lived near Clarence for several years before moving to the Wilton area last November. She married Mr. Wreidt May 11, 1957 in Rock Island.

Mrs. Wreidt is survived by her husband; a son, Wesley McJuckin, Chicago, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. James Ott, Los Angeles, Calif.; 2 stepdaughters, Mrs. John Karwath and Mrs. Harold Wiatt; and a stepson, LaVerne Wreidt, all of Davenport; 10 grandchildren.
