Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Belle Kingsbury, 78, were held Feb. 17 at the Sheets and Son Funeral home with the Rev. William Beattie in charge. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Leslie and Mark Kingsbury, Roger Purviance, Robert Goodsell, Raymond Clemmens, Elmer Maxon. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Daughtery were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Kingsbury died Feb. 14 at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, following an extended illness.

She was born Jan. 3, 1890 at Nashua, the daughter of Leander and Leah Jordan Goodsell. She graduated from Nashua high school in 1908 and Iowa Teachers college in 1911.

She was married to Everett Kingsbury in Cedar Rapids in 1912. They lived in the Tipton area for many years and Mrs. Kingsbury had been a resident of Tipton for 35 years.

She was a member of the Women's Relief Corp.

She is survived by 2 sons, Everett, Davenport, and Max, Bettendorf; 2 grandsons, E. Leslie and Mark Kingsbury, Davenport and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
