Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Chapman, 81, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21 at the Sheets and Son funeral home with the Rev. Everett Isaacs officiating. Burial will be in Inland cemetery, Bennett.

Mrs. Chapman died Feb. 18 at the Woode Custodial home after an extended illness.

Pallbearers are Earl, Wilbur, Francis and Allen Eggert, John Bell and Verle Johnston. Mrs. Everett Isaacs is organist.

The daughter of John and Magdalena Bruhn Eggert, she was born Feb. 29 at Durant and was educated in the rural schools of Cedar county. She was married to Riley Chapman March 20, 1907 at Bennett.

She lived in the Bennett area all of her life and had been a resident of the Woode Custodial home for 7 years.

She was a member of the Sunbury camp of the Royal Neighbors. She was a Methodist.

She is survived by a son, Lloyd, Davenport, and a daughter, Mrs. Iona Austin, Marshalltown, and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
