Mrs. Anna Marie Jedlik, 83, of West Branch died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, after a sudden illness.

Services were Feb. 10 in West Branch, with the Rev. Royce Walden of the Faith Baptist Church at West Liberty officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Solon.

Mrs. Jedlik was born April 26, 1894, near Mount Vernon, the daughter of John and Mary Fence Karrel. She was married to Thomas Jedlik on April 15, 1914, and lived on a farm north of West Branch.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Amelia Terrill and Mrs. Florence Kingsbury, both of West Branch; a son, John, Sioux Falls, S.D.; 2 brothers, Joseph and Frank Karrel; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death.
