Funeral services for Johannes Stuhr, 70, Bennett, were held Jan. 31 at Davenport, with burial in Oakdale cemetery, Davenport. Mr. Stuhr died Jan. 29 at Mercy hospital, Davenport, following an extended illness.

He was born in Germany and was married to Gertrude Schmidt in Lowden.

Mr. Stuhr, a veteran of World War I, had been employed at International Harvester company until retiring in 1965.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Joann, at home; a sister, Mrs. Anne Spect and a brother, Paul, both in Germany.
