Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Crew Lindsley Loehr, 80, were held Jan. 20 at the Dye Funeral home with the Rev. Ernest Lauer in charge. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Arnold Swan was organist. Pallbearers were Don Wehde, Max Werling, William Hobstetter, George Thordsen, Forrest Argo and Gerald Hartog.

Mrs. Loehr died at the Lutheran Home at Cedar Falls Jan. 17, following a long illness.

The daughter of John M. and Mary E. Lindsley, she was born at West Branch Oct. 8, 1887. She lived at Garrison from 1910 to 1920.

She was married to John F. Loehr. Her husband worked on the Rock Island railroad for many years and, upon his retirement in 1949, they moved to Tipton. He died July 5, 1956.

She was an active member of the Presbyterian church as long as her health permitted. At the time of her death she was a member of the First United Church of Christ.

She is survived by 2 nephews, F. Lindsley Watkins, Cedar Falls and Roscoe E. Watkins, Mission, Texas.
