Last rites for William P. Weih, 85, were held Dec. 22 at the Sheets and Son funeral home with the Rev. E. H. Lauer officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ralph, Harvey and Leo Weih, Vernon and John Lamp and Neil Carstensen. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Weih and Mr. and Mrs. Norwin Martens were in charge of flowers.

Mr. Weih died Dec. 20 at Cedar Manor following a short illness.

The son of Paul and Katherine Bartscher Weih, he was born at Sunbury July 18, 1882 and was educated in the rural schools of Cedar county.

He was married to Rose Lamp Feb. 7, 1907 at Tipton. They farmed in the Tipton-Bennett area for many years. After retiring from farming they lived in Tipton.

He is survived by his wife, a brother, Henry, Bennett and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
