Funeral services for Harry R. Bernet, 86, a life resident of Wilton Junction will be at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Griffith Funeral home in Wilton Junction. Burial will be in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.

Mr. Bernet died Dec. 25 at the Cedar Manor Nursing home in Tipton after a long illness.

He was born in Wilton Junction March 16, 1881. He first married Lola Killiam. She preceded him in death Sept. 10, 1944. On Dec. 28, 1960 he married Mrs. Olive L. Witmer in Muscatine. Mr. Bernet was a retired brick layer.

He was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Donald, Tipton, and a brother, George, Mayview, Mo.
