Services for Harry R. Guyer, 50, rural Durant, were held Dec. 26 at Durant, with burial in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. Guyer died Dec. 22 at Veterans hospital, Iowa City, following an extended illness.

Mr. Guyer was born in Cedar county. He married Audrey Schult in 1945 in Davenport.

Mr. Guyer was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Donna) Voelkers, Durant; 2 sons, Wayne, Muscatine, and Larry, at home; 2 grandchildren; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Guyer, Durant, and a brother, Harold, Bennett.
