Last rites for Mrs. Forest (Nona C.) Hipple, 75, were held Nov. 13 at the Tipton Bible church with the Rev. David R. Haifley and the Rev. Jacob De Koning officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were LaVern Fulwider, J. L. Van Fleet, Robert Davisson, Marvin Hesseltine, Donald Hipple and Richard Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Weineke and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Paulson were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Rhea Hambright was vocalist and Laura Geller, organist.

Mrs. Hipple died Nov. 9 in Mercy hospital, Iowa City, after an extended illness.

The daughter of Joseph and Mary Owens Chapman, she was born at North English and attended the rural school of Iowa county and Cornell college, Mt. Vernon.

She was married to Forest Hipple Oct. 28, 1937 at Washington.

Mrs. Hipple moved to West Branch in 1967 after 29 years of residence in Springdale. She taught Sunday school in the South Bethel, Mt. Zion, Springdale and other rural churches. She was a member of the Tipton Bible church.

She is survived by her husband, 2 sons, Jack Fulwider, West Branch and Jim Fulwider, Tipton; 2 daughters, Mrs. Max (Ruby) Phelps, Tipton and Mrs. Kenneth (Laurale) Hunter, West Branch; 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a step-daughter, Mrs. Everett (Dorothy) Cone, Tipton; a step-son, John Hipple, Mechanicsville; a step-grandson and 2 step-great-grandsons.

Also a brother, James Chapman, Fenton, Mich.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Casper (Laura) Van Fleet, Cedar Falls; Mrs. H. C. (Grayce) Hesseltine, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Robert (Leona) Lux, Oak Lawn, Ill.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, a brother and her former husband, Harold Fulwider.
