Last rites for Mrs. Leo G. Tucker, 62, West Branch, were held Oct. 27 at St. Bernadette's Catholic church, West Branch, with burial in St. Joseph's cemetery at Cedar Valley.

Mrs. Tucker died Oct. 24 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City following a short illness.

Margaret F., daughter of Frank and Emma Kuncl Shima, was born Sept. 4, 1905 at Solon. She was married to Leo G. Tucker Feb. 6, 1924 at West Liberty. She was a member of St. Bernadette's church in West Branch.

She is survived by her husband; 4 daughters, Mrs. Duane (Helen) Sorensen, Champaign, Ill.; Mrs. Donald (Patricia) Peacock, Davenport; Mrs. Robert (Leota) Steffen, Racine, Wis. and Mrs. Donald (Jean) Dutton, Oskaloosa; a son, Harold L., West Branch; her mother, Tipton; 12 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Roy Holubar, Solon; Mrs. Libby Lorence, Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Earl Howe, Tipton and 3 brothers, Frank, Stanley and Joe, all of Tipton.

She was preceded in death by 2 infant daughters, her father and a brother.
