Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Jensen, 85, Springdale, were held July 22 at Bethany Lutheran church, West Branch, with the Rev. William Thalacker officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Jensen died July 19.

The daughter of Nels and Maria Andersen, she was born Jan. 30, 1882 in Denmark. She married James Jensen at West Branch Nov. 22, 1906. He died in 1959.

She is survived by a son, Harold, West Branch; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Nielsen, Los Angeles, Calif; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
