Last rites for Frank Miller, 80, Durant, were held July 15 at Durant with the Rev. W. R. Garred of Gloria Dei Lutheran church officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. Miller died in Davenport July 12 after a brief illness. He had been a resident of Durant for 29 years.

He was born Oct. 5, 1886 in Davenport and was married to Bertha Pruess in Davenport Dec. 14, 1911. The couple farmed in Cedar county near Durant until they retired in 1938.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Edna) Moeller, Durant and Mrs. Harold (Stella) Anderson, Geneseo, Ill.; a brother, Willie Miller, Wilton Junction; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
