Funeral services for Mrs. Emily Krouth, 95, were held in West Branch July 19 with the Rev. Roger Tappmeyer officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Krouth died July 16 at a Tipton nursing home.

Mrs. Krouth was born March 5, 1872, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Ellen Moore, in Cedar county. She married Joseph W. Krouth Feb. 22, 1892 in Iowa City.

Survivors are a son, Phillip of Cedar Bluffs, 3 daughters, Mrs. Ruth Foraker, Iowa City, Mrs. Helen Weymiller, New Albin, Mrs. Irene Clausen, Silver Springs, Md.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Helen Loercher, West Branch and Mary Moore, Tipton; a brother, Robert H. Moore, Springdale, 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
