Funeral services for Arthur Lehrman, Stanwood, 71, were held June 5 in St. Paul's Lutheran church with the Rev. R. M. Muhl officiating. A prayer service was held preceding the funeral.
Pallbearers were Donald Peterman, William Jensen, Ralph Nodurft, Paul Portewig, Fred Luedeman and Henry Ormsby. Mrs. Ralph Nodoruft and Mrs. Leonard Koppenhaver were in charge of flowers. Emil Licht accompanied the men's chorus.
Mr. Lehrman died June 2 at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a short illness.
The son of Henry and Wilhelmina Horstman Lehrman, he was born June 11, 1895 near Stanwood and spent his entire life in the Stanwood community. He was married to Eva Stelzer at Stanwood Dec. 21, 1921.
He farmed for many years in the Stanwood area before his retirement. He was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his wife, a brother, Carl, Stanwood; 2 sisters, Mrs. Minnie Haesemeyer, Stanwood and Mrs. Anna Nagler, Jackson, Mich. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
