Funeral services for Clifford A. Tisinger, 63, were held Dec. 31 at the Tipton Methodist church with the Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. Mrs. Richard Palmer was vocalist and Mrs. Irma Crawford, organist.

Pallbearers were Arthur Driscoll, Harry Dodds, Claude Mitchell, Clair Hutchinson, Arthur Woolison and Melvin Pauls. LaForest Jedlicka was an honorary pallbearer. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mitchell were in charge of flowers. Burial was in South Bethel cemetery. The Dye funeral home was in charge.

Mr. Tisinger died at 9:40 a.m. Dec. 28 at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, following a long illness.

The Rev. Walter Martin of Madrid was in charge of the graveside service.

The son of William Little and Doshia Boyd Tisinger, he was born near Durant March 13, 1903. He received his education in the rural schools of Cedar county.

He was married to Helen Francis Mohr at the Mohr home south of Tipton Feb. 13, 1924. He farmed west of Tipton on the Agne farm for 37 years, moving to Tipton in March, 1966.

He was a member of the Methodist church, the Farm Bureau and had served for many years as a 4-H leader and was a member of the Tipton Community school advisory council.

He is survived by his wife, 5 sons, Wayne, Davenport; Allen and Paul, Tipton; Eugene, Iowa City and Lee, Durant; 3 daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Donna) Wilkerson, West Branch; Mrs. Wayne (Patricia) Kleckner, Sterling, Ill. and Mrs. James (Janet) Kleckner, Moline, Ill; a brother, Clarence, Cambria, Calif.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Orlo (Alice) Fisher, Hawthorne, Calif. and Mrs. Hazel Fisher, Des Moines and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
