Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Conrad, 93, were held at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at Peace United Church of Christ, Bennett, with the Rev. Robert Ahrendt officiating. Burial was in Inland cemetery.

Pallbearers were Warren and James Conrad, John Stuehn, Rudolph Hinrichs, Verle Kleppe and Raymond Bachus. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Pollock and Mr. and Mrs. Al Pye were in charge of flowers. Mrs. Ernest Riedesel was the organist.

Mrs. Conrad died Dec. 10 at the Tipton Custodial home after a long illness.

The daughter of Frederick and Mina Hoppe Myer, she was born Nov. 4, 1873 at Esdorf, Germany and came to the United States as a child. She was educated in the rural Cedar county schools and the Lowden Parochial school.

She was married to Louis Conrad at Lowden March 8, 1895. She had been a resident of the Lowden and Bennett area for 83 years.

She was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ and a charter member of the Guild.

She is survived by a son, Veno, Bennett; 2 grandsons and 2 great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by a daughter, 3 brothers and a sister.
