Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Grell Sievers, 78, Sunbury, were held Dec. 2, at Wilton Junction with the Rev. I. G. Wilkins officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mrs. Sievers died suddenly at her home in Sunbury Nov. 29.

The daughter of Fred and Emma Burmeister Grell, she was born Jan. 25, 1888 at Stanwood. She was a lifelong resident of Cedar county.

She was married to Hans Sievers Nov. 30, 1922 at Wyoming. She was a member of the Wilton Methodist church and the Royal Neighbors of America lodge in Sunbury.

Mrs. Sievers is survived by 2 sons, Clark, Hialeah, Fla. and Victor, Wilton Junction; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Kathleen) Meyers, West Liberty; one sister, Mrs. William Ropa, Stanwood and 3 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and 4 sisters.
