Funeral services for Clarence Cecil Baker, 75, were held at Wilton Junction Nov. 25, with the Rev. Homer F. Perry officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery at Wilton Junction.

Mr. Baker died Nov. 21 at the Wilton Nursing home following a long illness.

Mr. Baker was born Aug. 10, 1891, in Cedar county, the son of Frank M. and May Pratt Baker. He was a life long resident of this area.

He married Nettie Duffe, Jan. 7, 1917.

Mr. Baker was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ. He was a 50 year Mason and a member of the Golden Rule lodge AF & AM at Rochester. Also Mr. Baker served as church treasurer and Rochester township trustee many years. He was a farmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Clifton (Leota) Marolf, Wilton Junction; a brother, Joseph, Galesburg, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Vera) McCoy, Wilton Junction; and a grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, 3 sisters and a brother.
