Charles Q. Brandenburg, 79, a native of Tipton, died Sept. 26 at Cedar Rapids.

Services were held Sept. 28 at Cedar Rapids with burial in the Linwood cemetery.

Born Aug. 24, 1887 at Tipton, he had been a printer for 50 years and was associated with the Metcalf Printing company and retired from Lefebure. Mr. Brandenburg was a life member of El Kahir Shrine, a 50 year member of Mt. Hermon lodge AF and AM and a member of the Iowa Consistory and Eagles club.

He is survived by a sister, Hazel Smythe, Cedar Rapids.
