Funeral services for Mrs. A. P. (Belle) Hobstetter, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Dye Funeral home with the Rev. E. H. Lauer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary cemetery.

Pallbearers are Gerald Hartog, A. S. Petersen, John Miller, Wayne Miller, Donald Young and Lyle Elgin. Mrs. Irma Crawford is organist.

Mrs. Hobstetter died Oct. 4 at the Crestview Nursing home at West Branch following an extended illness.

Mrs. Hobstetter was born May 11, 1886 in Cass township, the daughter of Thomas and Nancy McAfee Armstrong. She was educated in the rural and Tipton schools.

She was married to Arthur Phillip Hobstetter at Mechanicsville Oct. 1, 1907. She lived most of her life in the Tipton area and was a member of the United Church of Christ and the Tipton Golf and Country club.

She is survived by a son, W. A. Hobstetter, Tipton; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Davis, Iowa City; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
