Funeral services for Donald H. Walter, 61, Davenport, a native of Tipton, were held Sept. 28 at Davenport with burial in Inland cemetery at Bennett.

Mr. Walter died Sept. 25 at Mercy hospital, Davenport, after a brief illness.

Mr. Walter, born in Tipton, also lived in DeWitt and New Liberty before moving to Davenport 16 years ago.

In 1927 he married Verda Meyer in Clarence.

He was a Mason and a member of the Davenport Shrine.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Mae Evans, Davenport; a son, Donald D., Bennett; five grandchildren, and 4 sisters, Mrs. Ernest Frerking, Marion, S.D.; Mrs. Zora Heine, Davenport; Mrs. Verda Kirlin, Missouri Valley and Mrs. Gladys WIlliams, West Branch.
