Funeral services for Mrs. Ammittie L. Proctor, 92, Wilton Junction, were held June 5 at the Griffith funeral home in Wilton Junction with burial in the Lime City cemetery.

Mrs. Proctor died at 7 a.m. June 3 at Muscatine General hospital following a long illness.

The daughter of Calvin and Ann Mockmore Franklin, she was born June 15, 1893 at Fairport. She was a resident of the Lime City area, northwest of Wilton Junction for 76 years.

She married James E. Proctor on Aug. 13, 1877 at Fairport. Mrs. Proctor was a member of the Christian church.

Survivors include 2 sons, Thomas M., Wilton Junction and Frank E., Moscow; 2 daughters, Mrs. Nellie Shotwell and Mrs. Ammittie L. Ford, both of Tipton; a brother, John F. Franklin, Cedar Rapids; 2 sisters, Mrs. Elsie Mulhollon, Fairport and Sister Harriet Franklin, California; and 28 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
