Mrs. Omar (Stella) Terhune, 61, Riverside, died May 24 at a Wellman nursing home.

Services were May 26 at Riverside, with the Rev. Walter Boeckman officiating. Burial was in the Tipton cemetery.

Stella Agnes Terhune was born Sept. 4, 1904, in Ohio, the daughter of Joseph and Hanna Kress. She attended a country school near Tipton.

She was married May 31, 1927, at Independence. She lived most of her life in the Johnson and Washington county areas.

Surviving are her husband; 2 sons, Wallace, Lone Tree and James, Bettendorf; 4 daughters, Mrs. Betty Boots, Mechanicsville; Mrs. Mary Buss, Ute; Mrs. Joan Pump, Jesup, and Rebecca Jan Terhune, Kansas City, Mo.; 2 brothers, Roy Kress, Wilton Junction and Joseph Kress, Clarence. There are 8 grandchildren.
