Funeral services for Lloyd Jacob King, 60, were held Nov. 13 at the Sheets and Son funeral home with the Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. Pallbearers were Kenneth Kolwey, Duane, Ralph and Donald King, Verle Shaffer and Dennis Buckley.

Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist. Burial was in the Dixon cemetery at Dixon.

Mr. King died unexpectedly at University hospitals, Iowa City, Nov. 10.

The son of Horace G. and Edna E. Jacobs King, he was born in Scott county Aug. 8, 1905, and was educated in the rural Scott and Cedar county schools. He worked as a farm laborer and had lived at the Cedar county home for 8 years.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Callistus (Queen) Buckley, Silvis, Ill., and Edith King, Davenport, and 2 brothers, Harvey, Dixon, and Charles, Davenport.
