Mrs. Anna Miller, 74, a Durant resident for 14 years, died May 3 in the Wilton nursing home after an extended illness.

The daughter of John and Wiecke Anna Nielsen, Mrs. Miller was born May 15, 1890, in Cedar county. She married Herman Miller Feb. 21, 1920, in Davenport.

They farmed in the Durant vicinity before retiring 14 years ago. Mr. Miller died 10 years ago.

Surviving are a son, Arnold Miller, Davenport; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Mildred) Suhr, Wilton Junction; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Best, Durant; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Frick funeral home at Durant at 1 p.m. today (Thursday) (C.S.T.). Burial will be in the Durant cemetery.
