Percy Sidney Cozine, 69, of rural West Branch, died Feb. 9 at University hospital in Iowa City.

Funeral services were Feb. 11 in Iowa City with the Rev. Jack L. Zerwas of the First Presbyterian church of Iowa City officiating. Burial was in Fairview cemetery in rural West Branch.

Mr. Cozine was born Jan. 21, 1896, in Johnson county, the son of Sidney and Agnes Cozine. He attended Iowa City schools and was graduated from the University of Iowa in 1921.

He married Lillian Frances Widmaier in 1923. Later they moved to California, and in recent years lived in the West Branch area.

Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Louise de Moreta, living in California, and a sister, Mrs. Agnes Cooke of Washington state.
