Funeral services for Mrs. Louis Sander, 72, Lowden, were held Feb. 15 in the Trinity Lutheran church in Lowden, with burial in the Lutheran cemetery.

Mrs. Sander died at the home of her son, Herb, Feb. 11. She had been ill for 5 months.

Born near Lowden, the former Freda Meyer married Mr. Sander in Lowden on Feb. 12, 1913. He died in 1939.

Surviving are 2 sons, Herb and Lewis, both of Lowden; a daughter Mrs. Albert Dircks, Charlotte; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. William Bicknese and Mrs. Otto Stolte, both of Lowden; and 2 brothers, August, Lowden, and Ben, LaPorte City.
