Floyd A. Winter, 52, Davenport, died Jan. 27 in Mercy hospital, Davenport.

Born in Cedar county, Mr. Winter married the former Eva Ricketts in Tipton in 1952.

He worked as a carpenter for Harold Vogel Roofing & Window Co.

Surviving are his wife; a sister, Mrs. Arthur McCollon, Rock Island; a brother, Norma, Davenport; and his father, Ava L. Winter, Davenport.

Services were Jan. 30 in Davenport with burial in Fairport cemetery, Fairport.
