Funeral services for Ralph L. Siders, 76, were held at the Snider Funeral home in West Branch at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Leroy Bauman of Mason City officiating, assisted by the Rev. Charles Haigh of West Branch.

Pallbearers were David, Howard and Glen Siders, Robert Fulwider, Wayne Chelf and Ronald Allen. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist with W. H. Naber and Mrs. Orren Kiser as vocalists.

Mr. Siders died Nov. 29 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City after a long illness. He had lived in Tipton for 22 years.

The son of William and Ledatia Schreck Siders, he was born May 22, 1888 in Aurora, Nebr. He farmed in the West Liberty area before moving to Tipton.

He was married to Nellie Devore in Davenport April 8, 1915.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, Earl, Tipton and Kenneth, Solon; 3 daughters, Mrs. Lois Hopper, Des Moines; Mrs. Edith Fulwider, West Branch, Mrs. Ruth Chelf, Atalissa and Mrs. Arlene Highly of Maquoketa, and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 6 sisters.
