Funeral services for Mrs. Arnold Bartscher, 90, Bennett, were held in Davenport Nov. 7. Mrs. Bartscher died Nov. 5 at the Shady Corner Rest home in Lowden after an extended illness.

Born in Scott county, the former Hilda Nothdorf married Mr. Bartscher in 1921.

The couple farmed in Cedar county after their marriage. He preceded in death in 1953.

Mrs. Bartscher was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Amvets, and a 50 year member of Sunbury Camp of Royal American Neighbors.

Surviving are a son, Frank, Bennett; 4 grandchildren; a brother, William Nothdorf, and 3 sisters, Mrs. Howard Theil and Mrs. Fred Linsch, all of Davenport, and Mrs. Harry Meewes, New Liberty.
