Funeral services for Mrs. Clement Loehr, 78, a native of Stanwood, were held Oct. 24 at Clarinda, with graveside services at Stanwood. Mrs. Loehr died Oct. 21.

The daughter of Charles E. and Margaret Maley Davidson, she was born at Stanwood Oct. 20, 1886, and was married on the Davidson family farm to the Rev. Clement D. Leohr Dec. 20, 1910.

Mrs. Loehr graduated from Stanwood high school, attended Monmouth college for 3 years and graduated from the University of Iowa. Before her marriage she taught school in Stanwood for 3 years.

The Loehrs served Presbyterian churches in Iowa for 26 years and had been in Minnesota, Illinois and Ohio for 24 years. They retired to Clarinda in 1957.

She is survived by her husband, 3 sons, The Rev. Franklin Loehr, Princeton, N.J.; Howard Clement Loehr, Irving, Texas; and J. C. Loehr, Dallas, Texas; 4 daughters, Mrs. W. C. (Margaret Jean) Hemphill, Clarinda; Mrs. Kathryn Grace Stevenson, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Suplee, Jackson, Miss. and Mrs. Doris Ethel Robinson, Rome, Italy; 34 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charles Davidson, Clarinda and Kenneth Davidson, New Virginia and 3 sisters, Bertha Davidson, Des Moines; Mrs. Harry (Lois) Bussard, Oakland, and Mrs. Dorothy Borthwick, Indianola.
