Funeral services for Mrs. Fred (Lydia) Dresselhaus, 82, were held Nov. 2 at the Dye funeral home in Tipton with the Rev. Robert C. Ahrendt of Bennett officiating. Burial was in Inland cemetery near Bennett.

Pallbearers were Ralph Ripson, C. W. Pollock, Henry Fullriede, Clarence H. Miller and Gerhard Beer. Mrs. Arnold Swan was organist.

Mrs. Dresselhaus died Oct. 31 at Mercy hospital in Davenport after an illness of several weeks.

The daughter of Ernest and Louise Richman Rixe, she was born 7 miles south of Lowden Jan. 1, 1882. She attended the country schools and was married to Fred Dresselhaus in Bennett Dec. 17, 1912. She lived in Bennett most of her life.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Ralph, Davenport; a daughter, Louise, Bennett; 3 sisters, Mrs. Frieda Hamilton, Tipton; Mrs. Clara Carroll and Mrs. Elizabeth Wagner, all of Tipton, a niece, Mrs. Rosalie (Hamilton) Trinka, who made her home with the Dresselhaus' since she was 4 years old, and 3 grandchildren.
