Funeral services for Mrs. Henry (Clara) Ibsen, 82, who died Oct. 9 in Jane Lamb hospital, Clinton, where she was a patient for 3 weeks were held Sunday, Oct. 11 in Clarence. Dr. C. W. Ebbert, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, Clarence, officiated. Burial was in Lowden cemetery.

Rosalyn Kintzel was the organist and Mrs. Robert Woode sang. Pallbearers were Leonard Reinking, Raymond Licht, Wilfred Niermeyer, Harold Ruprecht, Herman Koehne and Clyde Lowe.

Mrs. Ibsen was born Dec. 22, 1881 in Cedar county the daughter of John and Sophie Broeking Sander. She attended the rural school and was married April 8, 1904 to Henry Ibsen of Lowden. They farmed in the Clarence-Lost Nation vicinity until 1932 when they moved to Lowden. Mr. Ibsen died in 1962.

For several months she has lived in the Lowe Rest home in Lowden.

She is survived by 2 sons, Elmer, Grand Mound; Oscar, Lost Nation, a daughter, Mrs. Winston (Bernice) Haney of Portland, Ore.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Amanda Lange, Clinton, and Mrs. Arthur Paist, Gary, Ind., 5 grandchildren and 9 great-children.
