Ralph C. Woods, 63, formerly of the West Branch area, died Sept. 25 in a Rochester, Minn. hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were Sept. 27 in Council Bluffs with burial Sept. 28 in the West Branch cemetery.

Mr. Woods was born March 20, 1901, in West Branch, the son of Charles and Clara Woods.

During the past 40 years he lived in Council Bluffs where he was an engineer with Northwestern Bell Telephone Co.

Survivors include Mr. Woods' mother of Council Bluffs, and one sister.

Graveside services were conducted by the Waspsinonoc lodge No. 381 of West Branch.
