Services for Jens E. Kettelsen, 75, who died at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Veterans hospital, Iowa City, were held Sept. 20 at the Zion Lutheran church in Wilton Junction. The Rev. John B. Nieman officiated. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.

A son of Jacob C. and Helen E. Thompson Ketelsen, he was born Dec. 28, 1888, in Cedar county and spent his entire life in the Wilton Junction area. He never married. Mr. Ketelsen was a veteran of World War I, a member of Zion Lutheran church and a farmer by occupation.

Surviving are 3 brothers, William, Herman and Ludwig, all of Wilton Junction, and Mrs. Fred (Hulda) Grunder, also of Wilton Junction. His parents and 2 brothers preceded him in death.
