Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Runge Chapel, Davenport for Beulah M. Walter, 73, a former Tipton resident. Burial was in Inland cemetery, Bennett. Miss Walter died Aug. 3 in a Davenport hospital after a lingering illness.

She was born Nov. 30, 1890 in Bennett, lived on a farm near Tipton and then in Tipton until 1938, when she moved to New Liberty and later, Davenport.

She made her home with a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Walter, Davenport, who survive, along with 4 sisters, Mrs. Ernest Frerking, Marion, S.D.; Mrs. Zora Hein, Davenport; Mrs. Verda Kirlin, Missouri Valley and Mrs. Gladys Williams, West Branch; also 3 nephews and 7 neices.
