Graveside services for Mrs. Etha W. Gregg, 85, a former resident of Tipton, were held July 25 at the Tipton Masonic cemetery with the Rev. Raymon Ferguson officiating. Pallbearers were Ernest Werling, Charles Bolton, Carl Frederick, Henry Walters, Carson Cobb and Bob Schroeder. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Escher were in charge of flowers. Sheets and Son were in charge of the services.
Mrs. Gregg died July 22 at Chatham, N. J. of a lingering illness.
The daughter of John and Louise Hancock Curry, she was born at Moscow Sept. 30, 1878 and was educated in the Tipton Community school. She was married to Robert Gregg Feb. 15, 1899. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a son, Robert Weston Gregg, Burlington; 2 daughters, Mrs. Helen Jeffers, Davenport; Mrs. Leo (Florence) Hayer, La Grange, Ill.; a brother, Harry Curry, Cedar Rapids; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
