Arnold T. Ketelsen, 67, Wilton Junction, died June 30 at Muscatine General hospital following an extended illness.

He was born June 20, 1897, in Cedar county, the son of Jacob and Helena Thomsen Ketelsen. Nov. 29, 1922, he married Clara Allmandinger in Wilton Junction.

A farmer, he was a lifelong resident of the Wilton Junction area and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church at Bennett.

Survivors include his wife; six sons, Donald L., of Wilton Junction, Carl J., Lowden, William W., Durant, Delbert D. Muscatine, Curtis E. H., Davenport, and Edward, Tipton; three daughters, Mrs. Duane Spengler, Chicago Ridge, Ill., Mrs. Marvin Scharff, Walcott, and Mrs. Eldon Pewe, New Liberty.

Four brothers, William, Herman, Jens, and Ludwig, and a sister, Mrs. Fritz Grunder, all of Wilton Junction, and 18 grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Services were July 3 at 2 p.m. from St. Paul's Lutheran church in Bennett, with the Rev. Theo. Eickelberg officiating and burial in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.

Mrs. Harold Wacker Sr., was organist and pallbearers were Donald L. Ketelsen, Carl J. Ketelsen, William W. Ketelsen, Curtis E. H. Ketelsen, and Edward Ketelsen.
