Funeral services for Harvey Lee Miller, 85, a resident of the Tipton area for 53 years, will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. Eugene Miller in charge.

Pallbearers will be George Laucamp, Luther Alley, Wayne Henry, Charles Handley, Frank Walton and Herman Hass. Mrs. Wendell Willer is vocalist and Mrs. Irma Crawford, organist. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Eiler and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Ford, Sr., are in charge of flowers.

Mr. Miller died May 19 while mowing grass at his home in Tipton. Death was due to a heart seizure.

A native of Cedar county, Mr. Miller was born Oct. 4, 1878, the son of Milton and Tannie Johnson Miller. He was married to Muriel Murray at Marion April 4, 1924. He farmed west of Tipton for many years, moving to Tipton in January, 1945.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Dora Karat; Tucson, Ariz. and Mrs. Charles (Amy) Wolfe, Columbia, Mo. and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Johnson of San Bernadino, Calif. He was preceded in death by his his parents and 3 sisters.
