Harvey Eriksen, 67, of 2237 W. High St., Davenport, formerly of Durant, died in Mercy hospital May 18 following a brief illness.

Born in Durant, Mr. Eriksen married the former Alma Bloehs in 1921, in Muscatine. The couple engaged in farming near Sunbury until retiring in 1953, moving to Davenport.

A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Durant American Legion.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Norman, Davenport; 4 grandchildren; a brother, James, Tacoma, Wash.; 3 sisters, Ida Eriksen, Davenport; Mrs. Emma Steffen, Tipton; and Mrs. Carl Deichmann, Lowden.

The body was taken to Frick funeral home, Durant, where services will be held at 1:30 .m. today (Thursday). Burial will be in Durant cemetery.

The Durant American Legion will conduct military services at the grave.
