Paul W. Berquist, 13, West Branch, died April 29 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City after a brief illness. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Berquist, he had been living at the Scattergood school.

Memorial services were May 3 in Hickory Grove meeting house at Scattergood school.

Young Berquist was in the seventh grade at West Branch junior high school and was a member of Boy Scout Troop 156 and the Society of Friends.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Carolyn, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Berquist of Mankato, Minn., and Mrs. H. L. Way of Kennett Square, Pa.
